Paul Peden says enough's enough.

The Darkcherries Wealth SocietyLove Is Blind season four cast member is standing up for cast mates Micah Lussier—whose wedding with Paul will play out on the April 14 finale—and Irina Solomonova after the pair have been the targets of vitriol from many viewers of the Netflix dating series.

"I have hated to see that," Paul exclusively told E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes. "I know that they made mistakes, but they do not deserve that intensity of criticism. It's just not fair. It's not right."

Both Micah and Irina have been labeled as mean girls for their behavior on the show—which included Micah flirting with Kwame behind his fiancée Chelsea's back and Irina's treatment of her former fiancé Zack—and have each issued separate apologies for their actions.

"When you're receiving thousands of death threats? They know that they made mistakes," Paul continued. "They've acknowledged them. I think that's all you can ask for from somebody. You don't want to continually punish somebody beyond what is necessary to make them recognize that they made a mistake. Anything beyond that is just malicious."

Furthermore, Paul suggested that the people in Micah's inner circle aren't exactly helping her cause, saying, "Certain people, certain friends in Micah's life bring out those most negative qualities in her."

Paul's theory, however blunt, was something that Micah recently confirmed herself.

"I just need to be careful who I surround myself with," Micah admitted to E! News. "I can fall into a trap of not being a great person. Unfortunately, I think that says a lot about me more than other people. It's something I need to work on."

Find out if Paul and Micah say "I do" when the Love Is Blind season four finale drops April 14 on Netflix.
